Each November, tens of thousands of bloggers get on the NaNoWriMo bandwagon. They pledge to write 50,000 words by then end of the month. That approximates a 175-page novel. Or about 1700 words a day.

Have I ever thought about it? Not even for a millisecond. I can barely post once a week — forget 1700 words a day (although I bet some of my posts seem that long).

But, in the spirit of writing for writing’s sake, I’m going to commit to writing every day for 30 days. Now, I make zero promises about what I’ll write about. Some of it may be interesting or moving, and some of it may be what I had for lunch.

Here we go: 30 posts in 30 days
